Straker Cleaning came about in 1989, after working for companies that gave me a number of jobs per day, I soon realised that I’d need more time to get the best results. I prefer to finish a job, when it is completed to the best of my ability, not because I have then got to be elsewhere !! My clients have come to know that and I often only work on one job per day, this is the best way to fully ensure the most thorough and complete clean possible. This is why my clients continually refer me to family, friends and neighbours, meaning that I stopped directory advertising around 13 years ago.
Training is always ongoing but has been undertaken with some of the leading names within the industry, manufacturers such as Solutions UK, Prochem, Stimvak, Ashbys, Amtech, Alltec, The Approved Carpet Cleaners Alliance (TACCA) & National Carpet Cleaners Association (NCCA).
My use of microsplitters, is what began my ‘eco friendly’ journey, with a clients nomination for a green business award in 2006. I am very proud of my six Green Business Awards, in the boroughs of Merton, Sutton, Kingston & Wandsworth. Unlike some carpet cleaners, we do not use such words as eco or green without proven good reasons, hence considering ourselves “The greenest carpet cleaners in North Surrey and SW London”
Using the Jaguar portable extraction machine, proven to be one of the most efficient & powerful on the market. This machine is capable of working hose runs in excess of 120 feet and that power is capable of achieving amazingly quick drying times. With auto fill and auto empty, the Jaguar is ideal for flood water removal, even in areas not accessible by larger pumps or machinery. Smaller tasks can be carried out, with the Jaguar Cub, which has many equally impressive features, ideally suited to lower volume jobs.

The use of microsplitters, removes the risk of rapid resoiling, often caused by detergent residues. Our products are naturally sourced, biodegradable and contain NO detergents, enzymes or bleaches.
We always use solutions, that are child & pet friendly.
Upholstery Cleaning
We will use the appropriate methods & tooling for each type of fabric and our Drimaster, can have your items reusable within 2 hours. Years of training, in fibre recognition, restoration and familiarity of sofa manufacture, has made this one of our ‘specialist subjects’.
Rug Cleaning
Specialist restoration offered by one of only 26 certified Master Rug Cleaners, in the UK. We undertake all modern and antique pieces, hand knotted or machine made, collected, thoroughly cleaned in our workshop and then returned to you, at your convenience.
